With twice the computing power of the previous generation system, the brand new SYNC 4 can wirelessly connect smartphones without a USB cable to enable seamless integration of Apple CarPlay ™ or Android Auto ™ compatibility as well as SYNC AppLink® apps. Customers can interact with the truck using more natural voice control to ask about POIs or delays along a route. SYNC voice control and a 4.2-inch center screen remain standard on the XL-series axes with SYNC 3, while an 8-inch center touchscreen and SYNC 3 are standard on the XLT.
