2022 Skoda Scala

The 2022 Skoda Scala has entered the 2022 model year largely unchanged, though a number of features are currently unavailable due to the semiconductor shortage. These include safety features such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, usually standard on the 110TSI Monte Carlo and 110TSI Signature trims. There’s also a Skoda premium sound system that’s currently unavailable on the 110TSI Monte Carlo’s optional Travel Pack.

Skoda Scala Price

Pricing for the 2022 Skoda Scala starts at $30,990 drive-away for the entry-level 110TSI Ambition manual and extends to $38,990 drive-away for the 110TSI Signature. The Scala represents a strong push from Skoda into Volkswagen Golf, Toyota Corolla, Mazda 3 and Hyundai i30 territory. Although it’s built on the same MQB A0 platform as the smaller Volkswagen Polo, the Scala is actually larger than a Golf or Corolla – and promises to pack more into its boot than its rivals. In 2021 Skoda sold a total of 896 Scala models, which is less than the Toyota Corolla (28,768 sales), Hyundai i30 (25,575 sales), Mazda 3 (14,126 sales), and the Volkswagen Golf (1926 sales).
