For those looking for something that looks a little different than your average compact crossover, the look of the 2022 GMC Terrain Truck might catch your eye. But on closer inspection, neither its equipment nor its price catapult it to the top of its class. All models are powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and unlike the Yukon SUV, the Terrain's off-road capabilities are somewhat limited, even with optional all-wheel drive. Comfort
The spacious and inviting passenger compartment disappoints with the poor build quality and the average mix of materials.Meanwhile, shifting terrain ergonomically heals the compact crossover's inner wounds. Terrain is equipped with the first turbo engine as standard.5.0 liter four-cylinder engine with nine-speed automatic transmission and front or all-wheel drive. We haven't tested it yet, but we put this engine through our testing program alongside its mechanical twin, the Chevrolet Equinox; It took 8.9 seconds to hit 60 mph. The Terrain offers its passengers a comfortable and relaxed journey. While the soft-sprung suspension is a boon for long freeway trips, the comfort-focused setup exhausts the driver's commitment to the compact crossover when the's tarmac gets twisty.Likewise, the direct but gentle steering that aids low-speed cornering proves as uninformative as a mafia boss in a police interrogation room.
